Chris Grebe is a native Coloradan adventuring in the Deep South. His work in fiction centers on the dark, supernatural and speculative future/past. He is currently at work on Mine Town, a biographical history of a child laborer in an early 20th Century coal mine, and Shelter Farm, a young adult supernatural thriller about a young man’s first love and the evil which comes to claim it.

He is a member of the Southeastern Writers Association and can sometimes be found volunteering on the Alabama Department of Archives and History’s project to digitize the state’s Civil War and Reconstruction Governors’ papers.
